Join us at Wabash & Erie Canal Park at 2:30pm, April 18 and see blooming spring wildflowers. Perhaps Wild Ginger and May Apples will be in their blooming prime, while some wildflowers like Dutchman’s Breeches may still be blooming.
The photo above shows White Trout Lilies blooming in a sea of their own leaves. We may also see the baby turtles that appear this time of year.
Seasonal migrating birds are back. Perhaps we will see the Baltimore Orioles that nest at the upper end of the Towpath Trail.
The public, of all ages and skill levels, is invited to join for this guided walk. Narrating the walk will be David McCain, and the group will depart from the Interpretive Center at 1030 N. Washington Street in Delphi.
