Come learn about joining the dedicated volunteer team at Wabash & Erie Canal Park in Delphi. If you are interested in serving the community, learning something new, and having a great time in the process, you won’t want to miss this opportunity.

There are roles for every interest and personality, and you can read about some options here. The Volunteer Fair will begin at 1:00PM and will include a tour of Wabash & Erie Canal Park and its facilities. Current volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and teach you something new.

Whatever role interests you, our volunteers will be glad to show you the ropes. Whether it’s piloting the canal boat, greeting guests at the front desk, researching artifacts, or even blacksmithing or coopering, we are excited to share what we know so we can preserve this history for visitors far and wide!

Wabash & Erie Canal Park in Delphi has been sustained for over 50 years through the efforts of volunteers of all ages and skill levels. Will you consider continuing that tradition with us?
