Join your guide Lois Johnston for a scenic and informative walk along the historic Wabash & Erie Canal!
This walk will explore the natural and historic amenities of the southern reaches Wabash & Erie Canal Park’s trail network, and all ages are invited to participate. The walk is mostly flat and manageable over crushed stone surfaces through wooded areas, and the total distance will be approximately 1 1/2 to 2 miles.
The group will depart from the Blue Bridge at 10:00am. Parking is available just off Bicycle Bridge Road, adjacent to the Pizza Hut. Also, be sure to enjoy the festivities of Canal Season 2026 starting at 1:00pm at Wabash & Erie Canal Park’s main campus!
