DESCRIPTION:Description: Learn weaving by making either 2 placemats or a short table runner on a 2-harness loom. \n \nWhen: Saturday\, April 11\, 9:00AM-1:00PM \nInstructors: Instructors are members of Wabash Weaving Guild.  The Weaving Guild has existed for 40 years.  Jan Young\, wove hot pads as a child in 4-H\, taught elementary school for 40 years\, and now not only weaves cloth but also weaves stories at Feast of the Hunters’ Moon (since 1977).  Vilija Deutschman is a long time weaver who also loves the history and heritage of this craft.  Sue Hodge\, a retired accountant\, who has lived in Carroll County for 43 years\, and has been weaving for 8 years.  She also enjoys knitting and quilting. \nCost: $45.00. This cost covers registration and all necessary materials. \nSkill Level: Beginner\, ages 12 and older. \nClass Size: Minimum 3 students\, maximum 6 students. \nLocation: Bowen Cabin (if more than 3 students)\, Loom House (if 3 students) \nParticipants Bring: Nothing. \nTerms and Conditions: \n\nRegistration and payment are required at least two weeks prior to the class dates.\nAll classes require pre-registration and pre-payment.\nTo reserve your spot and pre-pay by check\, please mail a check to Canal Park\, attn: Classes\, 1030 N.
