DESCRIPTION:Description: Learn a historic skill to make tools needed in coopering using historic tools and methods. You will take home the tools that you create under the supervision of an expert instructor! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen: This a 2-day class: Friday (April 19) and Saturday (April 20)\, 9AM-5PM each day with a 1 hour lunch break. \n\n\n\nInstructor: Peter Cooper.  Peter has been coopering since 1997.  He has taught coopering to over 500 students\, and he has made coopered products for national historic sites\, national parks\, and theme parks in the US and Canada. \n\n\n\n\n\nSkill Level: Beginner (students ages 14-18 are allowed if accompanied by an adult) \n\n\n\nClass Size: Minimum 2 students\, maximum 5 students \n\n\n\nLocation: The Cooper Shop in the Canal Park Pioneer Village \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions: \n\n\n\n\nRegistration and payment are required at least two weeks prior to the class dates.\n\n\n\nAll classes require pre-registration and pre-payment.\n\n\n\nTo reserve your spot and pre-pay by check\, please mail a check to Canal Park\, attn: Classes\, 1030 N. Washington Street\, Delphi\, IN 46923. Please identify your desired class(es) in the check’s memo. A fee will be charged for returned checks. \n\n\n\nWe reserved the right to cancel classes if minimum registrations are not met.  If we cancel a class\, students can transfer without a penalty.  A full refund (minus credit card fees) will be given to students who do not wish to transfer to another class. \n\n\n\nStudents may cancel or transfer classes up to two weeks prior to a class without losing their payment (minus credit card fees).  Deadline to register is two weeks prior to class.\n\n\n\nIf a student transfers to another class prior to the two weeks of class\, a 20% transfer fee will be charged.  The transfer must be for a class within one year of the original class.
