DESCRIPTION:Help us make Canal Park look its best before Canal Season opens!\nThis is a volunteer opportunity open to all ages\, skills\, and interests.\nMeet at the Speece Picnic Shelter in the center of the Pioneer Village at 9AM\, and join a work crew for a variety of tasks in Canal Park and its trail system. At noon\, volunteers can enjoy a free meal provided by the Delphi Psi Otes.\nPlease RSVP so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone.

Join us at the 2026 Volunteer Fair and get a behind-the-scenes look at the people and skills that make this historic site thrive. This event will take place at the Interpretive Center on April 18 from 1:00-3:00PM. \nMeet the knowledgeable volunteers who keep the park running and learn about the many ways you can get involved. Opportunities include serving as a tour guide\, boat crew member\, gardener\, historic trades artisan\, historian\, and more. \nVolunteering is a great way to connect with your community\, share your talents\, and discover meaningful purpose while helping preserve local history. No prior experience is needed; our welcoming team will provide all the necessary training. All you need is a desire to make a difference. \nRefreshments will be provided.
