SUMMARY:Basket Making Class
DESCRIPTION:Description: Learn to make a Hen Basket\, with a melon shape going up into the handle. You will take home your creation! Participants need to bring an old towel. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen: Thursday\, May 23\, 9AM-3PM with a one hour lunch break \n\n\n\nInstructor: Bev Larson. Bev has been weaving since 1988 and teaching since 1999.  She loves to share her joy of basket weaving.  She has taught in many states and in the Caribbean on basket-making cruises.  Her goal is to make basket weaving fun\, relaxing and inspiring.  In 2003 she won the Eiteljorg Museum Weavers Challenge. \n\n\n\n\n\nSkill Level: Beginner\, students must be ages 16 or older \n\n\n\nClass Size: minimum 4 students\, maximum 10 students \n\n\n\nLocation: The Speece Picnic Shelter in the Canal Park Pioneer Village \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions: \n\n\n\n\nRegistration and payment are required at least two weeks prior to the class dates.\n\n\n\nAll classes require pre-registration and pre-payment.\n\n\n\nTo reserve your spot and pre-pay by check\, please mail a check to Canal Park\, attn: Classes\, 1030 N. Washington Street\, Delphi\, IN 46923. Please identify your desired class(es) in the check’s memo. A fee will be charged for returned checks. \n\n\n\nWe reserved the right to cancel classes if minimum registrations are not met.  If we cancel a class\, students can transfer without a penalty.  A full refund (minus credit card fees) will be given to students who do not wish to transfer to another class. \n\n\n\nStudents may cancel or transfer classes up to two weeks prior to a class without losing their payment (minus credit card fees).  Deadline to register is two weeks prior to class.\n\n\n\nIf a student transfers to another class prior to the two weeks of class\, a 20% transfer fee will be charged.  The transfer must be for a class within one year of the original class.\n\n\n\n\n\n
