DESCRIPTION:Description: Make a needle felted blue bird which is approximately 5 inches in size. The blue bird can be used as an ornament or set in a house plant. \n \nWhen: Saturday\, May 16\, 9:00AM – 12:00PM \nInstructor: Karen Bradshaw.  About 20 years ago at a fiber fest Karen got instructions for wool felting and has enjoyed creating different items ever since.  She has many handmade wool felted items on her Christmas tree. \nCost: $70.00. This includes materials and registration fees. \nSkill Level: Beginner\, for ages 14 and older. \nClass Size: Minimum 2 students\, maximum 6 students. \nLocation: Bowen Cabin \nTerms and Conditions: \n\nRegistration and payment are required at least two weeks prior to the class dates.\nAll classes require pre-registration and pre-payment.\nTo reserve your spot and pre-pay by check\, please mail a check to Canal Park\, attn: Classes\, 1030 N. Washington Street\, Delphi\, IN 46923. Please identify your desired class(es) in the check’s memo. A fee will be charged for returned checks. \nWe reserved the right to cancel classes if minimum registrations are not met.  If we cancel a class\, students can transfer without a penalty.  A full refund (minus credit card fees) will be given to students who do not wish to transfer to another class. \nStudents may cancel or transfer classes up to two weeks prior to a class without losing their payment (minus credit card fees).  Deadline to register is two weeks prior to class.\nStudents may cancel their registration until two weeks prior to the class date. After this two week deadline\, there will be no refunds or transfers.\nIf a student transfers to another class prior to the two weeks of class\, a 20% transfer fee will be charged.  The transfer must be for a class within one year of the original class.

SUMMARY:Pine Needle Bowl With Lid - Spring 2026
DESCRIPTION:Description: Students will make a small pine needle bowl approximately 6” diameter x 5” height with lid out of White Pine Needles to take home. Great as a decoration or to hold a treasure. \n \nWhen: Saturday\, May 16\, 9:00AM – 2:00PM\, and students may stay later to complete their projects. \nInstructor: Linda Cooper started making pine needle and straw bowls\, baskets and more about 15 years ago.  She has demonstrated crafts at the Indiana State Fair\, Feast of the Hunter’s Moon\, Wabash and Erie Canal Paper Makers’ Shop and at many festivals in the Midwest. \nCost: $44.00. This includes all fees and materials. \nSkill Level: Beginner.
