The Little White Church
Our little chapel, which we call “The Little White Church,” offers its 19th century charm for whatever event you plan to host in our facilities. Resting a stone’s throw from the water’s edge, this little church can accommodate your event such as small weddings, family reunions, musical performances—or a quick gander.

Conference and Interpretive Center
The beautiful, historically adorned Conference and Interpretive Center is a facility that was designed to replicate an 1850s downtown Delphi street scene.
Conference Center - We have our Conference Center that’s perfect for events of all kinds that need space indoors to spread out! We’re perfectly set up for business functions, family reunions, baby & bridal showers, graduation parties, anniversary parties, and more! We have wedding packages to give you weddings & receptions with all the grandeur and décor that your special day deserves.
Interactive Museum - Inside, you’ll find our Canal Museum, featuring numerous display panels and interactive exhibits to enhance your event hosted at the Wabash Erie Canal. Whether you’re having a wedding, a family reunion, or business conference—there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Canal Village
Certainly a favorite among our visitors, our outdoor historic Canal Village gives you a glimpse into the lives of people living in the 19th century.
See different trades artisans and canal boat crew including a broom maker, blacksmith, cooper, paper maker, and there’s even three canal rustic sleeping cabins depicting the era in which the canal was built so many years ago.
Knowledgeable, volunteer docents are available on summer weekends offering demonstrations and cabin tours.
Canal Boat
An optional highlight of your wedding or event at The Wabash & Erie Canal could be a unique ride on The Delphi, our canal boat. Take your party on a trip they won’t soon forget on the tranquil waters of the Canal!
Canal Era Gardens
We have outstanding gardens spread throughout the grounds with a variety of different plants, from the aesthetically pleasing flowers and vegetables to the herbs and medicinal plants with more practical uses. See what gardens looked like in the 19th century. And they add beautiful backdrops for photographs of your event!
Historic Trails
Your more active guests may enjoy a walk on our picturesque Historic Trails. Three miles of the Canal Towpath form the main trail through the park.
Campgrounds
If your event involves camping, we have you covered! We have spaces for tent camping, RV camping, pickups & pop-ups, cabins and plenty of overflow camping. There are electrical and water services at select sites.

A short walk to the south along the canal, during a break from your event for railroad fans—see our full sized 1880s trackside depot.

Red Bridge Settlement & Lime Kilns
A walk to the north will offer several unique photographic opportunities. These include an 1874 Bowstring Pony Arch bridge that serves as a trail crossing. Nearby you will find a restored lime kiln and archaeological remnants of one of the largest industries in the region, producing exceptional quality plaster, mortar, and whitewash.
Playboat
Children of all ages are welcome to enjoy our outdoor play area with a large replica canal boat to climb around in and on while going on imaginary Canal Boat adventures of their own!
Picnic Shelters
When the weather is nice enough for grilled hotdogs and burgers, we have the Speece and Rotary picnic shelters, located in the center of the Canal Village, great for providing shade and protection on rainy days. You’re welcome to use it whenever it’s not already occupied, and you can reserve it for a small fee.
Food
There are no restaurants on the Canal grounds. Food can be arranged with local caterers. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and use the picnic shelters or spread out a blanket beside the beautiful canal.
